Winding coils and transformers, a neat pdf
http://ludens.cl/Electron/trafos/trafos.html I downloaded this to a cdrom.. not sure where I filed it but very helpful for even a old electrician winding his own spot welder coils. Perhaps it can help someone here?
Most my electrical work has been "run pipe, pull wire, turn it on and leave, unemployment". Then it was instrumentation work (read book, calibrate instrument, wire it, check it in operation, leave, unemployed) This was another thing to learn.
