Looking for Coral Castle Bathtub Dimensions

Does anyone who has traveled to Coral Castle have the dimensions of the "bathtub"? It appears to be slanted, with the right-side partition being a bit deeper than the left-side partition. If that is accurate, which direction does that slant point toward?

I am looking for the length, width, height, and depth of the two partitions, as well as whether there is a slant to one side. Any information you could provide on this would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, if you have the dimensions of the entire rectangular stone block from which it was carved, that would be helpful as well.

  • I'm not sure on the dimensions, I think he story went that Ed would fill the bottom partition up and then when he got in the bath the water would rise flush with the top. The slope of the bottom would go towards the drain, if here is a slope the slope would be to the South towards the Obelisk :)

@Ones65118 Thank you. Thats some good info. I am looking for a ratio and Volume thing. I think I can find that ratio in how he built this tub. If the water rose flush to the top with him in it, then he scaled the ratio to himself. He may have cut all his stones to his appropriate ratio as well, which made it easy for him to move them.

The tub suggests a ratio of Length : Width : Height or Length : Width : Depth.

    Length: Approximately 6-7 units
    Width: Approximately 2-3 units
    Height/Depth: Approximately 1-2 units

    estimated ratio, simplifying to whole numbers, could be 6 : 3 : 1 or 7 : 3 : 1

    A more precise ratio might be 2 : 1 : 0.5 if we normalize it (e.g., length = 12", width = 6", height/depth = 3")
