Im looking for this chair where ed sits. The only chair i see in modern pics is facing the wrong direction.

  • If the crescents are behind him and he’s facing right, then this chair as the same in this overhead photo is 90 degrees turned to the right. It needs to turn counter clockwise 90 to match with Ed’s original picture.
  • Ok. No one has anything to say? The chair has been rotated. Crickets?
  • several chairs and a podium have been moved since Ed owned the place. keep in mind at one point in time it was just a curiosity.

    What direction is he facing, sitting on his chair?

  • The Castle is owned and maintained by others The chair that Ed is sitting in is a different chair all together; or has been redone cleaned or something; in the newer photo; The items in the castle are not fixed to the ground; they can be move and the grounds cleaned each year for tours: it is a tours trap: on the way to Disney land - is it not? In my garden things are moved and cleaned each year;
    all being a tours trap in one way or the other;
    but in the newer photos; Ed is not showing up for some reason: if it was my castle I would have a atomaton of Ed in the chair; saying: Ten cents please:

    and no refunds;
  • Thank you for all the replies! In the first and third (Birds Eye) photo, the chair is facing west. In his original photo the chair is facing south. Also is there anything metal inside the concrete star he made in the center of his fountain?

    Did they move the 1400 pound stone chair in the middle of the night to dust under it? There’s no reason for anything to have been moved. Is your source, “trust me bro?” And I don’t care if you think it’s a tourist trap. That has nothing to do with the conversation. This ain’t your garden. Is a federal landmark. Why would you even be commenting on a “tourist trap forum,” with like 50 members? Go somewhere else with that crap.
