I was watching a youtube and I noticed a comparison in the formations of the equation. Just want to leave this here for discussion.

Correct! As you can see, voltage is applied to both poles at once, so the circuit is focused on modulation, not current as a priority, in order to do something else entirely. That is finding the difference among the poles, which is in simple terms, time energy at one end (negative ion) vs the boson mass matrix at opposite end (positive ion) , as a strong bias to the end of the positive pole even when the end of negative is part of the very heavy positive ion.
